Just About That Time

Now that I am 55 I get to hear more stories of people with cancer or that have died and I wonder what is going on. I ran into someone from high school recently and he was telling me about the people we know that have died and another friend has cancer and is getting "chemo". I have a few clients that have been diagnosed with serious health problems and I am glad that I decided years ago to make some changes.
Some of them were pretty slow and some I am still working on. I know that if I didn't make some changes I would have been one of those dead people. It just doesn't have to be that way. Today I think more people are dieing from the tests and procedures more than they are from the actual diagnosed dis-ease. I wonder why people might stop themselves from doing something that is a little bit safer than the treatment that kills before diving head first into the Black hole.
I had an uncle many years ago that died after being diagnosed with cancer and going through the chemo only to be sent home to die. When I went to the hospital to see him I didn't even recognize him. A man I knew for 25 years and I didn't recognize him after treatment. It just made me sick to my stomach to see such a nice person dieing and I couldn't do anything about it. So that is part of why I love to teach people about health. Other than the fact that I realized by the time I was 30 that I needed to start thinking about the future. The fact is that if I would have taken some of the precautions I could have earlier I wouldn't be in a position that I would have to be concerned about my health.
Now that everyone around me is getting sick maybe it will be an incentive to do even better. So it is going to be time for some juicing in a few minutes so I can get some real nutrients for the day. Have Fun
